Thursday ... REBOOT!

After the world's longest reboot -- something like 2.5 years -- I've decided to start this blog again.  Sigh.  Of course I've come to the conclusion (as if I needed more empirical data) that my body's natural equilibrium is right about 280#.  And of course to adjust that equilibrium I need to either lower my caloric intake, increase my caloric burn rate, or adjust metabolic "constants" by adjusting what I eat and not just the quantity.  Yeah, that's pretty much rambling.

Yesterday, though, I weighed myself at 279#.  So apparently 4 BLT sandwiches for dinner is enough to make you gain a pound.  Who knew?  Ok, but in my defense they were really good sandwiches (kudos to Chris on that one).

Not sure what I'm going to try to eat today.  I had two eggy-muffin sandwiches (but with Mayo and Cheese) so I'm probably not doing stellar.  I have some soup and was thinking about finishing off the leftover hamburger helper for lunch.  And I'm not sure what Chris has planned for dinner.

Well, more later.  I'm trying to decide if I ought to count calories or points or what.  Let me know what you think.
